School Textbook Scheme is operated through the Library. Online Database: In 2008 the Library has invested in a very comprehensive database called eLibrary. This gives students at school access to hundreds of first class journals - both academic and popular - as well as many newspapers and other resources. These are all indexed, although the search terms may not always be as easy as Google. However, we have invested in this resource because the periodicals or journals are peer reviewed and contain high level content. This enables students to produce first class assignments and to be confident of their sources. Home access to eLibrary is through the homepage Links> Search> eLibrary. The password and username are available to all students. These details are displayed in the Library, or ask library staff. Wh have now paid for remote access to this online database, so that students and teachers can use this comprehensive resource for homework and assignments. Go to the Quick Links in the menu bar of this website. |
