Tamborine Mountain State High School is located in the hinterland of the Gold Coast region. It provides a unique educational setting, renowned for its beautiful landscaping and creative architecture.
Located in the Scenic Rim Shire, Tamborine Mountain State High School is part of the South East Education Region. The school was opened in 1999 as a government funded co-educational secondary annex of Helensvale State High School and catered for Years 8-10. 2002 saw Tamborine Mountain State High School become a school in its own right supporting Years 8-12.
Since 2002 the school’s popularity has grown enormously. All enrolments are determined by an Enrolment Management Plan based on a catchment area.
Tamborine Mountain State High School services the feeder primary schools of Saint Bernard State School, Tamborine Mountain State School, Canungra State School and Cedar Creek State School.
The school provides them with multiple pathways to excel in academic, cultural and sporting arenas. We continue the development of our programs through student, parent and teacher feedback. The school is well resourced and technologically sophisticated. This ensures the programs reflect and complement the school’s contemporary approach to secondary education.
The Tamborine community has a strong and passionate ownership of the school and collectively aspire to an exceptional performance level for staff and students.
